Heating / Ventilation / Cooling and Lighting System
The original system was minimal and included no central heating system. Heating was provided by stoves and electric heaters, and cooling by electric fans.
Problems / Damages
The building was in bad shape and needed thorough renovation. Besides energy problems, there were severe humidity problems from walls and roof as well as infiltration through windows, bringing dust and noise to the interior space.
